The Tang of Youth

An aphrodisiac; the tang of youth
adulterates my perspective of the world–
“tunnel vision” they may tease
yet I do witness the burdens of the elderly
and the ignorant bliss of youth
and as I lie bitterly,
I wonder why people claim
“Being 21 is all the rage!”
