Mental Health Monday

Hello there!

This Monday, I decided to go out and enjoy my own company. Sometimes, I forget how important it is to get to know myself and maintain my mental health.

I really love to exercise so I thought hiking would be the best way to relieve some stress.

Lately, I have been suffering from anxiety. I have a hard time falling asleep. My head aches as I stress about my future, my insecurities, and my self-worth. It is a horrible feeling but I did find peace within nature.

I have always loved the outdoors. Just being outside and listening to the trees dance with the wind, the bushes rustling, and the birds singing from up high, it was truly soothing. It as if all my anxiety melted away as I sat down and allowed myself to feel.

There is something truly…otherworldly about nature. I always wonder how the world looked before we adulterated it our needs and desires.


Every a goblin, ever a goose, if I pray hard enough, will you introduce yourself to me?


Maybe I read too many fantasy novels but I can imagine scenes from my favorites books whenever I go hiking.
