I recently went to Barnes and Noble and used my Amazon Prime and decided to treat myself!
I have always been fascinated by Celtic mythology and the history, so finding this book on sale for $9.98 urged me to try it out.
Poppy was also interested in the text and decided to read it with me 🙂
Parallel to the previous book, the collection allows me to indulge in my various fairy tales. Fantasy is my favorite genre so I cannot wait to read it.
I love mythology and Greek mythology is my personal favorite. I recently wrote a paper analyzing Hecate and her origins. I have decided to write a paper on Persephone and wanted to read another interpretation of the infamous kidnapping of Persephone.
This is a great text to study if you are interested in mythology. This focuses on goddesses from various cultures. A great read!
Let’s be honest here–the illustration is what drew me in. I love the idea of the unknown and what-ifs, so reading about various monsters of legend is fun for me to get into.
I love Faeries and love learning about them. This book is pretty informative and has charming illustrations along with it. There is a part of me that hopes faeries are real or once were and in the second novel I am currently writing, there will be faeries mentioned.
