It is finally done! I guess I can’t go back!
I have been on and off this blog and my instagram account working on this project.
inflorescence is entirely a catharsis for me–getting out all these emotions, memories, pains, and delights out and putting it to paper. They always say, if you say a word out loud enough, it loses its meaning. Reading over and over and over these poems, that are saturated in painful memories, has helped me.
inflorescence means the process of flowering. I took that description pretty seriously. I have always compared myself to a flower and I wanted to show how I became more over the years and I have still time to grow.
It is a poetry collection divided into six parts: seedling, blossom, drought, pruning, flourish, and rebirth.
I hope you enjoy!
