Star-Crossed love

A structured lullaby; a seductive purpose-
A boneless body; a wicked smile-
Innocent ventures; a veteran’s hands-

He tempted her with pleasure
And she eventually gave in-
to his forest green eyes,
Seeing only a wondrous adventure
That would lead to a possible legend
And extremely plausible completion.

Hair as pure as freshly fallen snow; completely lacking color,
the unadulterated black uninterrupted by light-

Ultra-feminine features, a pert nose and an angel’s bow for lips;

ruggedly chiseled features and a jawline to die for-

In the moonlit glade-
A stage
Surrounded by a standing ovation
Ordinary became extraordinary
Under the meticulous hands
Of star-crossed love.
