I crave your love, deep and ancient
like the beating heart of the sea.
Awash with tender feelings for you,
I am held adrift by the waves of hesitancy.
From my standpoint, I covet your touch
With a madman’s ease-your beauty a kaleidoscope of colors and temperance,
I beam my love for you, my affections
like a warm but sudden light.
A pocket of heavens splendor, it seems almost fate to have you so close.

If I knew the power of your love, I would strive to be better, become far kinder, dedicate my life to saving others-

I have stood vigilant and tall throughout the years, weathered by winds and rain,
