Show me that your more
Than flesh, teeth, and tongue.
Show me what has fermented
Behind those pretty eyes.
They hold me astray, entangled
In your gaze, I forget how to breathe,
How to stay away. If I learned
What blossomed inside your heart,
Your desires, your dreams, if we pressed
Lip to lip, tongue to cheek for conversation
First, the entree before the decadent wickedness of dessert, will my heart
Stutter and skip? If I looked past your
Facade you so effortlessly put up, put up like me,
will I fall in love as swiftly as the sun fell for the moon?
The poem is very beautiful 😀
